Throw a rock in Simi Valley and you can hit a church there are so many. So what's so special about Simi Hills Christian Church? Well ,we are the little church with big ideas and a big heart. We've done things and hosted people that most mega churches only talk about.
Our sanctuary has been the stage for world leaders, renowned scientists, bestselling authors, Israeli generals, famous rabbis, singers, and a host of others who are having a profound impact on our world.
While it is nice to have a church that does great things, we would be nothing if we didn't focused on loving people and sharing the the good news that "Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so." John 3:16 says it this way, "For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever shall believe in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life...." Isn't that GREAT NEWS!
In a smaller church like ours there is no more wondering if someone will noticed if you showed up or not. No more feeling like you don't belong. If you have ever felt lost in the big sanctuary before, you are in for a treat at SHCC. It is impossible to get lost here. We are blessed to have a gifted teacher who has a knack for finding diamonds of truth buried in obscure places in Scripture. If he is not well known in the world, He is well known by God and a respected representative of the Christian faith amongst the Jewish community.
We teach from the Scripture, believing them to be the inspired Word of God. We honor Jesus as our savior and The Only Way to salvation. We try to live our lives in such a way as to make it obvious we belong to Him both behind closed doors and out in public.
Our worship is eclectic, our vibe low key and our hearts open and welcoming. We hope you will join us for a Sunday service, one of the Bible studies or many other opportunities to hear from God in this generation.
Godly Men Living the Great Adventure. The men of Simi Hills work, play and serve together in their homes, church and community. We meet in small groups to discover truths from the Bible and to build strong encouraging relationships. Our Men on a Mission teams are able to help in repair and construction projects locally, domestically and internationally. We have regular times to spend time together for fun in our softball league, golfing, along with annual trips for river rafting and camping.

Women's relationships are deeper and stronger than men's in
general. Having a prayer partner and a freind who you can talk
to helps the entire church body. SHCC provides opportunities
through bible study and informal gatherings for women to share their unique challenges and insights in a safe environment.
None of us have it all together so we welcome "real" women who are new to the faith, non-christians, or wise women of the Lord.
Proverbs 30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands,
and let her own works praise her in the gates.

Who is more precious or more vulnerable than a child? It is a privilage and an honor to help parents teach their chilren about the love of God, His greatness, holiness, and His immutable character.
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.

The apostle Paul gave a young pastor advice in 2 Timothy that we are well advised to pass along to our youth today; don't let anyone look down on your youthfulness and stay the course. In our Youth Ministry we strive to give young people reasons for their faith so they can stand strong, while building relathionships that open the door to their hearts to recieve the love and forgiveness Jesus paid so dearly to give them.
2 Timothy 1:13 What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. 14Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to youguard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

The arts ministry not only gives kids a way to express their faith in creative ways, it is a way they learn the valuable lessons they themselves are teaching. Music, dance, and theatre opportunities as well as "backstage" or production helpers give all kinds of kids a way to be involved.

Ann Vance, Ph.D.
With her unique blend of training and experience, Ann assists clients in personal, relationship, and career related concerns.
Dr. Vance is an Executive Coach and Marriage & Family Therapist with specializations in Art Therapy, Anger Resolution, Collaborative Parenting Through Divorce, and Christian Counseling Psychology.
In addition, she holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Christian Counseling Psychology and is also trained as a Clinical Pastoral Counselor. Ann has had the cosmopolitan experience of residing in the Caribbean, Canada and Hawaii prior to moving to California. Her rich background of education and creative experiences are evident in her credentials and warm 'Aloha' spirit.
Ann is available to present workshops related to Relationships, Parenting, Therapeutic Art, Career Directions and the Blended Family.
A new addition to our suite of services is Cooperative Parenting and Divorce Recovery workshops, court approved for parents in conflict through divorce.

Rachel Ehrenfeld, Ph.D . is the Director of the American Center for Democracy. She is an expert on terrorist financing and the shadowy movement of funds through international banking, governments, business and charities to fund terrorism. She has a unique understanding of the challenges of international terrorism and Narco-Terrorism to democracy and freedom, and how money laundering and political corruption facilitates terror financing and economic warfare. Ehrenfeld also studied political corruption in Latin America and elsewhere and has developed the International Integrity Standard (IIS), to help control and monitor corruption.
